Outlaw Star Ginga no Ryū Myaku Hen (OUTLAW STAR 銀河の龍脈編? lit. "Outlaw Star: Chapter of the Galactic Dragon Vein") is a two-volume light novel adaptation of the twenty six episode series, Outlaw Star. Chapter of the Galactic Dragon Vein was written by Katsuhiko Tiba (千葉 克彦 Chiba Katsuhiko) and illustrated by Takuya Saitou (斎藤 卓也 Saitō Takuya). Volume two was released February 1999.[1]
Story[]
Hunted by the Kei Pirate Guild, Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking depart from Sentinel III and head for the Heifong System with Melfina and Suzuka. Gene decides to join the Heifong Space Race to earn money and promote Starwind and Hawking Enterprises with the Outlaw Star. During the race, Gene attempts to confront the men responsible for the death of his father, the MacDougall Brothers, Ron and Harry MacDougall.
